Multi-user management
(Card payment at POS terminal)
🔹 POS terminal (physical terminal) Available: yes, at most banks and independent service providers. Operation: the waiter logs in with his own PIN code, the terminal records who initiated the transaction. Usefulness: in catering, in stores with higher turnover, where it is important to track turnover per person. Additional functions: often paired with cash register integration, so invoices and payments are also displayed linked to the user.
In the case of SoftPOS (phone/tablet POS application), it is only available to a limited extent, since the SoftPOS app of most service providers works on the principle of 1 device = 1 user. Exceptions: in certain more advanced solutions (e.g. corporate versions) there is a multi-user function, but this is typically not a basic service, but a separate development or additional module.
Who is it recommended for?
Multi-user management (for example, in a restaurant, waiters are separately identified with their own PIN code on the terminal) is typically useful in catering and in stores with higher turnover, where it is important to track turnover per person.
