The Barion Smart Gateway is an online payment solution that allows webshops and other online service providers to accept the most popular bank cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club, Discover). The system supports payments in multiple currencies (HUF, EUR, USD, CZK, PLN, RON), immediate and recurring payments, two-step payment (pre-authorization and capture), and one-click payment for those with a registered Barion Wallet. The merchant can easily manage refunds (including partial refunds) and automate processes with the API. Barion Wallet, Apple Pay, and Google Pay payment methods are also accepted. Barion provides a merchant portal (Barion Metrics) with detailed transaction history and reports. The system also supports the integration of custom payment pages and embedded payments.
